This is a for profit company that at the same time provides a public service by 1) providing employment and employment training 2) recycling clothing and other items so that they do not end up in a landfill 3) selling items that are still very usable at a reasonable price. The West Jefferson store provides these services to residents of Ashe county. I have purchased items here and I know people who have decent clothes that they would not have been able to afford new.
